Ashish K Jan 10 It's about of a teenager who defies all the odds and become a millionaire by revisiting the all the anecdote that's how he knew all the answers of the particular question with his real life incidents that had happened in his real life. This movie taught a lesson that no matter how much situation will be worse but at the end Good people get the justice, this movie is the perfect example of JUST WORLD FALLACY.. What can I say, let’s start with what I liked: the acting, the plot, production and most importantly the movie’s structure! The first half of the movie is very promising and the story in general is incredible actually, I wish it was executed a bit differently tho. The ending was kinda rushed in my opinion. When it comes to Latika, I really wanted to get to know her more (her adult version) because it just appears as if she walked from one millionaire to another. Which makes the overall message a bit questionable in my opinion. It just makes it seem like money can buy everything, including happiness and true love. I honestly wish that Jamal would’ve answered incorrectly but Latika would’ve chose him anyway. That would be more inspiring. I am aware that this movie is loved by lots of ppl. The view to understand the reality and the resilience of the Indian people, but also the individual messages, their struggles, their beauty, and persistence is substance to the director. To fathom a story filled with hope and sadness made from a mind from Manchester fills me with hope. Thanks to you you Danny. A life changing experience for me and I would guess for many.
