It is very hard for me to understand why is it that people seem so reluctant to watch many fantastic Argentinian movies. I know this is not only true for Argentinian films. It may be expanded to any quite unknown film that is not originally in English. This is a marvellous film. It gives you a whole new perpestive on how poor people live, and how hard it is for them to struggle against their needs and their awful condition. It is sad and hard, but it is incredibly real. Julio Chavez is one of the best Argentinian actors. And Soledad Villamil is also fantastic. It's a shame many people are not interested in it. They don't know what they're missing.
