Looking to escape from his dying world, the orc shaman Gul'dan utilizes dark magic to open a portal to the human realm of Azeroth. Supported by the fierce fighter Blackhand, Gul'dan organizes the orc clans into a conquering army called the Horde. Uniting to protect Azeroth from these hulking invaders are King Llane, the mighty warrior Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and the powerful wizard Medivh. As the two races collide, leaders from each side start to question if war is the only answer.

I think it needed more action and no so boring but on the other hand there were people sitting behind us talking through the move the whole time. I couldn't hear the movie too well.

Very well done with the visual effects, CGI, and costuming. Those who are familiar with the Warcraft universe will recognize the themes, characters, stories, and intricacies of the Warcraft universe in this movie. It is a little long. And it certainly looked like it set itself up for a second movie. Unfortunately, that was not going to happen.

It looks stunning and the worlds it features are beautifully imagined. Could be accused of being a little too earnest and perhaps that is because it is trying to portray both camps as not evil, but having evil characters within each one. It is different. You have to give it that. I have watched it a couple of times. Not because it is a brilliant movie, but because it is so unlike so many of the movies made today.

A nonsensical plot, wildly inconsistent characters, and way too much mid CGI are just a few reasons why I didn't love this movie. It really probably should have been animated, and I don't say that lightly.
