Young parents Dave and Rebecca are ready to reclaim their life after years of diapers and sleepless nights. However, things take an unexpected turn when Dave's parents show up unannounced and broke after having mismanaged their former wealth, especially after his mom needed knee surgery -- without insurance -- following a spin class accident. Dave, ever the loving son, has no choice but to open the door to the people who gave him everything. But these boomerang parents aren't great with boundaries, and the question of who's parenting whom quickly becomes blurred.

[A] gentle and silly diversion. Go to Full Review
Daniel Fienberg The Hollywood Reporter 02/07/2020
It's the wasting of this cast that's ultimately most disappointing about Indebted, rather than its lack of amusement or perspective. These performers are too good for a show that's so instantly and inevitably forgotten. Go to Full Review

After three episodes, there's plenty of room for improvement and plenty of time to improve, but it'll take a big renovation to whip "Indebted" into shape, and it may not be worth the investment. Go to Full Review

In its attempt to bridge the generational divide between late Boomers and millennials, Indebted ends up a family comedy for nobody. Go to Full Review

Some off-color humor, great cast in so-so sitcom. Go to Full Review

It's not highbrow comedy, but [Fran] Drescher remains a vital actor who might catch lightning twice. Go to Full Review

Stephen C @bob25009 Jun 27 12 funny National Broadcasting Company episodes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ages 14 and older!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See more 05/18/2020 Awful show The only good actor in the show is Steven Weber. Fran Drescher still has that annoying voice from the nanny. Abby Elliott, although very pretty and nice to look at, doesn't really give all that great of a performance. And forget about Adam Pally. Horrible acting by him. Can not land a joke to save his life. Everything looks forced. Adams character "Dave" is very similar to "Dave" in CBS's The Neighborhood. Very similar. Neither one can act all that well, but Pally is just atrocious. I can't blame the actors, Dan Levy is also a no talent producer, actor. He was great on Schitts Creek for the first few episodes until the entire show became about his weird pansexual lifestyle. Kid has no business directing or producing anything. Should just let his father produce the show. That's true talent. See more 04/28/2020 One of the worse tv shows I have ever seen. Steven Weber deserves so much better than this stale lifeless dreck. See more 04/23/2020 Every single episode of this show is laugh out loud funny. I looked forward to watching it. It is relatable and refreshing to watch. Love the casting as well. See more 04/16/2020 The cast never seems to move away from just being silly - the show lacks heart. See more 04/09/2020 so bad. Can't believe they even have this show. too porny See more Read all reviews
