I don’t blame the DCC members themselves for falling prey to cosmetic enhancements...But I do blame the DCC organisation for their complicity; for actively encouraging their employees to buy into a culture of procedures from such a young age... Go to Full Review

The stories of the women on the DCC squad are what make America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders worth watching, even if the format sometimes feels repetitive. Go to Full Review

David F @dfulmer Aug 26 This season was interesting but much more personal as it delved into the lives of the cheerleaders. There was an interesting storyline about their pay and how inadequate it was and what they were going to do about it but it was maddeningly vague about specifics. This season was less about the institutions of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and more about the individuals who made it up during this particular season. See more Michele P Jul 29 I've been watching the DCC show since it first aired as Making the Team. It was always so entertaining. This latest season is definitely not on par with previous seasons. It was super slow moving, with most of it being interviews with the cheerleaders themselves, or clips of their family lives. It was SUPER boring! I fell asleep through a lot of it and was so happy for autoplay. I will definitely not go back to rewatch anything I missed because I don't feel like I missed anything important. The special sauce for this series is the athleticism and fun dancing of the team, not an in depth look into the personal lives of a few of them. Hopefully they get back on track next season and give us auditions and training camp, not boring chatter. See more Nicholas A Jul 20 I loved the first season, but this season is a complete snooze fest. See more Shayne D Jul 12 A bit dull, especially compared to the earlier “Making the Team” series. Too much talking with a few selected team members. We miss the dancing / training camp rehearsals that were more entertaining and gave exposure and familiarity with more of the team. See more gabriel r @thecud Jul 8 It seems the powers of DCC are VERY concerned with keeping a squeaky clean image of respect, honor, strength and humility. It’s not about selling tee shirts and calendars for Jerry, it’s about being pillars of the community. Ok. Sure thing. Whatever. “Yes ma’am” this and “yes ma’am” that. They all want us to know that their “girls” are intelligent and fine members of America - even though they dress them up like hookers on Halloween and do close ups of their high kicks over and over and OVER. Fine. I get it. Sex sells and you’re selling sex - NOT respectability. I have no problem watching beautiful women parade around in almost nothing for 45 minutes. But can you please, PLEASE change the rules a little bit??? PLEASE. Let me suggest a rule which might make the show move along a little faster. I know girls posting sexy stuff on their social media, showing up late for team meetings and/or not having their hair and make up done just right is a big no no. But how about cutting girls from the team, THAT INSTANT, based on how many times they say “like”. It an EPIDEMIC - and every single one of them sounds like a complete idiot when they do it. These women need to stop dancing and take a speech class. I was thinking it would be fun to sit around with a few buddies, watch America’s Sweethearts and take a drink every time one of these chicks says “like.” But, sadly, that game wouldn’t last long. If we did that, everyone in the room would be wasted in 10 minutes. GET IT TOGETHER - you’re embarrassing yourselves. See more Camille T Jul 1 Unfortunately, you only really get to see like 15 minutes of dancing in the whole second season. They hyped up a lot of the negativity and paints the cheerleaders in a bad light. Everyone has problems and maybe focus less on that and the dreams, passion, and work it takes to be a professional dancer and operating such a big brand. See more Read all reviews
