Something about "Best Timer Ever" felt different and compelling... When so much of network TV seems safe and formulaic, "Best Time Ever" deserves points just for daring to be unpredictable. Go to Full Review

Best Time Ever COULD be a fun, energetic throwback to the balls-to-the-wall variety shows of old, if it would just slow down for ten seconds. Because every show is live, this could happen in the future. Go to Full Review

Oh lordy, I feel as if I'm about to drop-kick a Care Bear. Forgive me, but there's no way around it: Neil Patrick Harris' Best Time Ever just doesn't work. Go to Full Review

Yes, the title is ironic, but neither grown-ups nor children are going to have the best time ever. Go to Full Review

There really wasn't much variety to speak of in Best Time Ever after all, and precious little entertainment value. Maybe it will improve, but who'll be watching now that everything else is on? Go to Full Review

04/06/2016 Neil Patrick Harris is great, and one of my favorite actors! This variety show is like nothing else (even though it is techincally based off another show.) I loved watching it, and got some great laughs out of it! Even though not every episode was great, it was still kept afloat by NPH because he's just so great! I understand why the show wasn't renewed, (it cost a lot to make and was very tiring for NPH, and didn't get very good ratings) but I still thought it was a great season of 8 episodes, and would most definitely buy it on DVD! See more 11/04/2015 I know I'm not as famous as the "San Francisco Chronicle" or the "Pittsburgh Post-Gazette", but I'll tell you this... The show's not only pure entertainment it's alive! And all thanks to the magic and charisma of Neil Patrick Harris. He gives everything to make sure we have the BEST TIME EVER!!! And I can proudly say he has succeeded. His hard work and dedication deserves not only a season 2 but plenty of them. See more 11/01/2015 NPH makes anything simply awesome See more 10/28/2015 The show is really exciting and fast paced.
