Season two finally finds stronger purpose with "The Chicago Way," a midseason finale with a cliffhanger clash.
However, there were perhaps a few too many different story arcs going on for any single narrative to feel prominent and definitive.
The best thing about the hour was the way Ray and Nate continued to bond.
Chicago Way definitely steered the season in the right direction that should hopefully provide a better sense of purpose.
Legends of Tomorrow wrapped 2016 with a terrific episode featuring the first clash with the Legion of Doom.
Of course, 'The Chicago Way' wouldn't be a midseason finale without a cliffhanger of some kind, and Legends of Tomorrow delivers just that in the form of its final scene.
All in all, this was a good episode, and a good way to end the first half of the season.
Well folks, the Legion of Doom has finally assembled!
There's so much more potential in Legends Of Tomorrow's concept than what we've seen thus far, and I'm not sure if the show will ever have the freedom to explore that when it's tethered to broad superhero vs. supervillain plots.
