The three leads do their best. It's not their fault the script is littered with the kinds of clunkers that bring you out of the lakes and back to the channel changer. Go to Full Review

On paper, this has all its ducks in a row. But it doesn't dig deep. Go to Full Review
Chris Bennion The Times (UK) 08/19/2019
It's deeply erratic, with a script from Anna Symon veering between delightfully spiky and baffling nonsense. Go to Full Review

Sabine T 06/09/2024 It's really disappointing how the somewhat interesting, multi-family and therefore multilayered plot in the end just deteriorates into a colossal bore. The last two episodes are annoyingly shallow and the relationships are too neurotic to be interesting. SPOIlER alert, until it turns out that the daughter was hidden by her own mother in the hopes of rekindling a long lost marriage the show kept my curiosity, however it just goes downhill from there and turns into a time waster. Definitely not comparable to the American show "Big little lies" at all! Just writing this review to get it out of my system that I wasted so much time on my precious Sunday.
