Cops by numbers , yawn worthy with the DI Ray in question obviously suffering from her charisma jab required for yet another dull , plodding , unremarkable, unoriginal cop show . ITV turn these series out by the bus load and I guess due to the law of averages at least one of them will be good . However it’s never going to be DI. Series 2 plays safe with the same old issues even the same ways of getting rid of a witness eg. being run down by a car out of nowhere😴.Please move on it's getting boring. As always all significant characters are female with males just making up the numbers. Having said that the ultimate bad guys were inevitably white and older males as always ( can anyone remember the last time they saw a white older male as a positive role model ?). The main character is the least empathetic lead i can remember seeing. She only has one visual expression, one tone of voice and one approach to any situation. All in all a dreadful waste of time.
