A pitch-perfect sketch of a certain kind of male neediness.

The third season of F Is for Family continues to deliver on the things that make it such a worthy and unique addition to the Netflix landscape. It's also the season that proves the show has legs and is ready to go the long-haul if given the chance.

... it will be difficult to watch the third season of Netflix's series "F is for Family"... without thinking about the state of the union as it exists in 2018.

Bill burr is hilarious. He tells it like it is and how a lot of us fathers want to say it. Worth watching

This show started out funny. Coming from the brilliant mind of comedian Bill Burr how could it not be? Seasons 1 and 2 introduced us to Frank Murphy and his family. The word did functional doesn’t do justice to this clan. Yet they feel real. They behave a lot of families did in the 70s, gender stereotypes and all. It was an amusing and sometimes insightful look at that decade. It showed us how far we’ve come and how much further we need to go. So what the hell happened with season 3? The laughs are replaced with stories of the holocaust, a child being made mentally handicapped by his brother, an abusive girlfriend, and at least people living on this one street who have serious mental disorders. Now I like dark humor. I don’t have a problem with that at all, but this show didn’t get dark, it got mean. It feels as if this season actively hates the audience and just wants it to go away. There are some interesting themes explored, but there is no heart to this season. We don’t balance out the grimy and tragic 70s with any love. And I don’t think I laughed once. Seeing a man explode in a plane engine was shocking and hilarious, and the tenderness of Frank telling Bill to shove it down was a great counterbalance even though he’s doing the wrong thing.

One of the best series when it comes to adult animated series. I would watch time and time again. Love the Bill Burr ??

Amazing show need a another season

Funny and sad, sometimes at the same time with great voice acting and a family so dysfunctional that you sympathize with all of them, even though they yell at each other and have f-bomb throwing contests, the third season of F is for Family drops some necessary anvils (abuse comes in many forms) whilst also serving as a good break from anyone suffering from BoJack Horseman fatigue or lack of a new season of that great show in general.

Absolutely awesome! I have always been a Simpsons, Family guy, American Dad, Rick and Morty and Futurama lover! And this ranks up there with the best of them! If not the best overall! The cast, the show, the plot, just absolutely amazing and funny!
