If racing isn't your passion, skip it. But for those who like it, the series provides a lot of entertainment. Go to Full Review

Drive to Survive is a nice, slick production with plenty of appeal for the uninitiated. It never really deviates from sports-docuseries formula, but is nonetheless entertaining. Go to Full Review

Sometimes a Netflix doc hits it out of the park. Sometimes it falls flat. But, sometimes it just falls right smack in the middle of these two plains of existence. That's the deal with Drive to Survive. It's right in the middle. Go to Full Review

Samuel B @RT53888027 Jun 12 Very good series, it shows the pilots' lives outside the tracks, but at times the drama is exaggerated. See more Santa F @RT84029357 02/25/2025 Extremely entertaining for someone who is starting to watch formula, very insightful to learn about all of the drivers and everything behind the teams See more Lasse L @RT62932725 11/10/2024 Drive to Survive is entertaining and a really good entry into Formula 1. It has its flaws, mainly that it's sometimes a little dumbed down or orchestrated/overly dramatized. I like the format, but I would like an even broader approach to the teams and a better sense of how the championship progresses over the season. See more Sheena P @RT32871280 03/13/2024 My intro to F1. I liked the authenticity of the first season. See more Esteban C @RT03454761 03/04/2023 formula one, welcome back to my life! this first season of what i expect to be one of the best documentary series i watch was just iconic and just so fun to watch. my love for formula one is back, and i can't be more excited to go back to the races in the current season! i haven't watched an F1 season for maybe a decade, so watching the 2018 championship was just extraordinary and surprising. some well known names, some childhood idols and some new personal favorites made their appearances in this one, and i have to tell you i was over the moon to see them, not just on my screen, but a lot of them younger and in very different teams from where they are now. with the adrenaline of the races, the drama between drivers and team principals, and all the differences between teams that this sport has, as well as treasons and upcoming changes i hope to see in the future, this debut season delivered, and brought the tension, suspense and action that this one of a kind sport brings on a regular year basis! with daniel, max, carlos, romain, niko and kevin being the one with the main spotlight in these ten episodes we got a glimpse of this whole show and the things that go on behind the wheels. i can't wait to keep watching and obsessing more and more, but until then, au revoir drivers! SEE YOU IN 2019 while i watch some of you on 2023! definitely a highlight of my year for fucking sure :))) See more ahmad m @ahmadmelhem 01/03/2023 While it heavily overdramatizes the sport, it acts as a more than fair memo of the most important aspects of the sport while highlighting notable events that took place within the season.
