Savannah Smith is eating it up with every bored eyeball, perfectly placed sneer, and pop culture-flecked insult. Whatever other faults in Gossip Girl’s second season, she is impossible to turn away from, and that’s made all the difference. Go to Full Review

There wasn’t a lot of actual “fun” in the first season, but this season remembers that should be part of the equation. The combination of fun plus chaos is something this season really dips its toes into, and it seems like the water is more than fine. Go to Full Review

Gossip Girl is unveiling her sophomore season, and it’s good. Okay, well, maybe not good— but it’s significantly better than season one. Go to Full Review

Christian G. @chrispresario Mar 18 Where’s the backstabbing, the lying and the SCHEMING!?!? Where are my mean girls !? The show lacks substance and characters we hate to love and love to hate ! See more Gabriel @RT50130780 04/20/2023 Considerably less terrible than season 1 but still not good enough for its own name. See more Esteban C @RT03454761 02/07/2023 this show didn't deserve to be cancelled and i desperately need someone to pick it up and continue this well deserved story! this season was intense and definitely bigger than the first one. the characters were more machiavellians, they went outside the us for the finale (the og went to france, this one went to italy :) with an amazing setting and the plots were as dramatic as ever. we had the return of georgina sparks stealing gossip girl from kate in typical bitch fashion. we had more events (including big ones as tribeca and the met gala). we had outfits to die for and comebacks we needed. we saw the rise and fall of monet de hann. obie broke things with incestuous grace and got back with julien, all while trying to uncover her mother's lies. aki, max and audrey try the throuple thing but didn't end up working for the former couple, so they split up in the most catastrophic way. julien kept trying to be the better person with slightly better results in this one. camille de hann got more involved into gossip girl, praising for the change of character of her daughter. luna got the episode she deserved as well as the oscar de la renta campaign instead of julien. shan kept being the bitch we all need as a best friend. nick's plot was a little uncertain, but i liked the caused little to no drama. and of course, kate confessed her sins in the end, probably got arrested and even though she and jordan made a cute couple, she went full daenerys at the end of game of thrones. i loved the show. i loved the nods to the original, the return of the minions as pippa and bianca. the schemes. the debutant ball. the affairs. the gossip. and all the drama that gossip girl is supposed to make. i'm devastated that hbo max decided not to continue the show, but this has potential, and i truly need to see what happens. the only thing that didn't bothered me as much last season but this one did was kate. and it was because of her change of attitude, the fact that she had more power this way around and it got into her head, and all the things she AS A TEACHER did to her STUDENTS on purpose. kate, you really disappointed me in this one :( you bet i'll be rewatching this soon, because i'll never be over it and i think this is one of the best continuation series ever made <3 GOSSIP GIRL FOREVER See more Luis Otavio F @RT47579327 02/05/2023 Despite being superior to the 1st season, the 2nd season of Gossip Girl lacks good conflicts, a story that holds the viewer. See more Mathew L @RT06015775 01/31/2023 This season was pretty good, I'll give it that. The drama was reasonably decent but the reason there's the fall of the show is simply because Julian and Audrey are in no comparison to Serena and Blair. Their fights truly suck, and Julien is just not an exciting character to follow. Audrey isn't enough of a rebellious wild spirit. The costars are truly a far better casting decision and way more enjoyable to follow. Max is a fantastic personality with so many different traits and contributions to drama. I wish he was the star of it all. Obis family and drama really nails the reality of what you would expect from NYC families. I think that's what it's missing. 07 gossip girl cast lived an untouchable life from an outsiders perception. The galas, the dresses, the tuxedos, the champagnes, the limos! This really shows nothing of glamor, it shows regular drama that people face on a daily basis. Which is boring. We're use to it. As people who don't have wealthy parents to buy us hotels and drive us around in limos, it's exciting to see the bigger more expensive drama. They really should've studied it more and not try to make it so relatable. See more Ella K @RT33842705 01/27/2023 This season is way better then the first one they really stepped it up this season See more Read all reviews
