It’s a bit of a loose construct, aided by the fact that each episode has a different narrator. Go to Full Review

Emily Haywood Scarfe @em777 Jan 24 The narration is so awful you would be forgiven for thinking it’s AI. Stories are so confusing and drawn out. Distracting music See more Aye E Sep 7 The content is important but somehow the over drawn-out & melodramatic editing and terrible voice of the narrators that almost sounds like AI, makes this feel juvenile & disrespectful. The narrative scripting is sensationalist, the story is chopped up in little chunks in a way that breaks up a clean timeline in an attempt to make it more dramatic I think but just cheapens it. Was this made for tictoc? Was it made by AI? Is this someone's High School journalism project? The victims and their families & friends deserve better than this junk. See more Lisa K 01/18/2025 Honestly, it's painful to watch. I feel like the people who made this show didn't consider that the people in these stories are real people. The music was out of character, the sound effects were messed up, and tried to make this look more like a thriller movie when it shouldn't have been. There was too much narrating and I feel like the ones affected by the loss of a loved one nor the people involved really didn't get much time to talk about their cases. It felt like a great example of how when watching true crime stories people forget these were real victims. It just felt disrespectful. See more Rachel M @Rmckee 07/26/2024 The sound track was so bad it felt disrespectful to tragedies being discussed. It was painful to watch at times because of the music. Just wow. If they would just re-release this season with different music, Id probably give it five stars. See more LEOR 07/26/2024 I love true crime shows - but this is the first time i notice how important the soundtrack is to them. The show for some reason use ALLOT OF CHEAP SONGS that creates a sleazy atmosphere. This comes as a huge contrast to the seriousness of the families talking about their dead loved ones and the really good footage and interviews. Its a bizzare and cringe choice that kills this tv show. Very hard to watch See more Noreen C 07/23/2024 It’s not bad but a little drawn out. But the worst is the MUSIC. This is about a murder not a high school love affair. I would watch it more except for the music. I just can’t. See more Read all reviews
