Another knock-out documentary for Disney Plus... A beautifully stylish series that delves into its subject matter with true heart and soul, not only highlighting the unique culture of the studio, but also of its creators in a wonderfully charming way Go to Full Review

Jacob B @RT89309114 Oct 31 An enjoyable documentary series that lets people know what goes on inside this legendary animation studio, highlighting their culture and all the hard work involved in making compelling stories. My only real gripe with Inside Pixar is that it loses some steam with the last 5 episodes. Not because they're bad, they're still educational for aspiring animators, but because they have a more generic feel compared to the heavy focus earlier on Pixar staff telling tales about the roles they play such as localisation or catering. While most of them due give people with a Disney+ subscription their money's worth, these last 5 episodes could've easily been uploaded for free on YouTube. I could just be coming off as nitpicky but I genuinely did think they were more enjoyable when they were focusing on crew members talking about what they do, making the focus almost solely on film clips with narration come off as something that would feel more at home on Pixar's YouTube channel than it does here. Still an enjoyable look, even if, thanks to the heavy emphasis on sequels going forward, the Pixar of the future might not be the same Pixar that's presented here. The brilliant minds at Pixar share their stories, passions, and the outcomes of being part of such a remarkable team. I enjoyed every single minute of it and felt way more connected to the creative process, the detailed planning and the precise execution that turns ideas into stunning animations that whisk us away from reality. See more 11/28/2020 A short episode series documentary gives a look how Pixar make their iconic and phenomenal movies. It's a very interesting watch and the music brings everything together. My only problem is, that it looks like a perfect place to work and I don't see a lot struggles. I don't know if that's accurate. On the other side it's not a making off. It's totally about the artistic process of their movies and short in general. There are also little previews showed for upcoming movies and scenes that aren't used in movies. So I Recommend to watch this series. See more Read all reviews
