At the Sacramento County Jail, incarcerated females have to fight the power, and one another, as they try to make the best of life -- and love -- while on the inside. When one inmate messes with her cellmates, it becomes payback time for the victims. The inmates try to hook up through "the bowl," connecting toilet pipes that are used as an unofficial communications network. As tensions between the women rise, a fight ensues in the dayroom.
