Jan 31, 2023Drops you directly into the action and then keeps going. The world building is just enough to achieve some suspension of disbelief, and the fights are fun to watch. The only sticking point for some might be the animation and art style, it's an acquired taste.

May 08, 2021The plot is flat and quickly becomes repetitive and boring. The characters are predictable and without depth, simple gorillas without humanity or conflict. A plot full of platitudes, unjustified and not very credible. The series is so bad that it can only be compared to one of those B-movies from the eighties.

May 11, 2020This was great piece of anime and felt like the more updated version of Street fighter with a full list of strong characters.

Apr 20, 2020This show makes life worth living, it's just so awesomely violent.

Feb 29, 2020I hadn't watched anime for a long time, when I found Kengan Ashura on my Netflix feed. It has the perfect combination of gory violence and interesting plot that has always grabbed my attention. I guess the only thing I didn't really like was Kazuo Yamashita; he's kind of annoying as he's screaming, shouting and looking confused all the time.

Nov 10, 2019Obviously this is an anime and manga adaptation, so i'll be brief. The animations rarely match up logically with what is being described by the script of the show, and the fights almost never make sense. The show does a very, very poor job of "scientific" explanation, as per use of the word in the anime, when describing what actions are taking place in each scene. I thought Baki was a strange show, but this show makes little to no sense, with what I found to be a disinteresting plot and even less interesting character developement. In each episode, I feel as if the writer was a fan of fighting completions but wishes the fighters had superpowers, while at the same time finding superpowers to be cliché.

Nov 05, 2019One of the best fighter anime I watched, best by far than BAKI, so enjoyed, every fight of the different fighters are excellent. I'm not a fan of cgi, but this is in another level, so fluid.
-
Oct 31, 2019In two seasons of this show its by far the next best thing as far as BAKI is concerned. If you enjoy blood and brute strength in an anime then this is definitely the anime for you.

Oct 01, 2019Not a fan of the cgi animation but is a great anime nonetheless

Sep 22, 2019I don't watch many Anime any more, not because I hate anime but nothing really holds my attention these days, so when I sat down to watch Kengan Ashura, it was more morbid curiosity than hearing anything about it beforehand. As I sit watching Episode 8 I must say I'm enjoying this Anime quite a bit. I won't pretend to know the characters names but between the Brutal violence, Quirky Characters and Erotic overtones, Kengan Ashura has my attention. I like the fighting styles, very weird Twist in the story, and Ohma the main characters boss as wimpy and weird as he is, you kind of have to Root for to get from under his mountain of Debt. Like I said you just have to watch it and get the plot...Give it a couple episodes to let it sink in...I was done after maybe 3 episodes but came back and as the story unfolded I was totally on board. There's one point that will really hit you....Trust me I was lmao at one point.....Just watch it will ya? You know you want to.
