Detective Elliot Stabler, former member of the Special Victims Unit and ex-partner of Capt. Olivia Benson, returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. However, the city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away, and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler joins the new task force taking on NYC's most powerful crime syndicate -- a case that has become deeply personal for him -- all while trying to rebuild his life, his family and his career as a police officer.

Christopher M @RT92438412 08/28/2024 Season one not bad entertainment. Season 2 became childish after the first half of the episodes. Unfortunate, the Law and Order series in General are well produced, well cast and have decent story lines. See more 07/15/2022 Spoilers! As a L&O nut for 30 years i had high hopes for this show. The good is when Stabler and crew are going after actual criminals like the albanian gangs, drug runners or corrupt cops. The team is well balanced, the characters likeable, the plots are interesting. The bad is when Dylan McDermott's ridiculous bond villain crossed with a superbaddy is chewing up the scenery and defying all logic. He gets jailed, he gets out for no reason, suddenly he's working for the dept as an adviser, then he tells them everything and gives the game away, holds the city to ransom and ends up in a car in a river, but magically escapes. Marginally less preposterous is his ex-wife who fakes a brain injury but then stops doing it mid season and nobody but Stabler notices or cares. and please get rid of his mum, she is so irritating. Please do not bring them back. See more 05/27/2022 Really loved this show! See more 05/24/2022 Does anyone in Hollywood ever look at the fake driving scenes? I can't be the only one the notices most of the cars are still in park while doing the scenes. Stabler was in a high speed chase and all you could se is a gear shifter in the scene. Also Frank's car during the show was a 1972 Chevelle. Looked like a decent car. The scene starts out with Stabler watching Frank drive out in the parking lot not in a 72 Chevelle but a 1970. Cars look nothing alike. Then the car turns into a 1972 Malibu with painted silver bumpers. The car looks like it was a polished turd. I can't believe whoever was in charge of vehicles couldn't find either a 71 or 72 to do the scene with instead of using a 1970. You should at least have the cars look something a like. See more 05/15/2022 Featuring Christopher Meloni (born in Washington, District of Columbia) as Elliot Stabler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, so ****ing funny!!!!!!!!!!! See more 04/10/2022 I am someone that has watched the entire 1st season and the current 2nd season of Law & Order: Organized Crime. I didn't quite understand some of the story lines in the 1st season, but I guess there's always confusion and processing of new movies and T.V. shows. But the 2nd season has had me more attentive and engaged than the 1st season and I can understand all of the storylines much better. With that being said, this show has grown exponentially on me, and I have become a huge fan of L&O: Organized Crime. Without a doubt, this is my favorite L&O show to watch. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Within two seasons of this show, I can say that I personally enjoy L&O: Organized Crime MUCH more than L&O: S.V.U and that's mainly because I'm not a BIG fan of hearing and watching seeing sex crime stories. But I was always entertained with the way L&O: S.V.U operated and handled those cases. I think the story writing for L&O: Organized Crime is WAY better than L&O: S.V.U. I like how the writers are not taking any stories from real life (anti-police, left-wing narratives) and integrating them into the show, like L&O: S.V.U does. I think most of the reviews of L&O: Organized Crime are mostly negative. I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, including me, but I think the problem that I have with most of those reviews is that people WERE expecting this to be an "L&O: S.V.U 2.0." At the end of the day, the show is called "Organized Crime" for a reason. It has to have its own identity. People are unwilling to adapt to nor accept a new structure, and I think it was a great idea for the writers to divert away from the "typical Law & Order" feel and take it to a level were no L&O show has never ever been. Example: someone could be looking for something to watch and they turn the channel to NBC without knowing that it's L&O: Organized Crime and could watch it and never know that it was an L&O show. That's how much different and unique it is. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The theme song is excellent—the best out of all the L&O shows. Every time I hear it, gives me the sense/feeling that war is about to go down. The fact that an actual orchestra produced these soundtracks lets me (I don't know if anyone else feels this way) know HOW MUCH different the writers/producers wanted L&O: Organized Crime to be from all of the other L&O shows. If there was such an Emmy Award called "Best Composed Music/Soundtrack in a Drama Series", L&O: Organized Crime, without a doubt, would win. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a HUGE fan of Chicago P.D. and can see some similarities between it and L&O: Organized Crime (and to a lesser extent, all the F.B.I shows; Original, International, and Most Wanted). Obviously, there will be a three-way crossover between L&O (Original), L&O: S.V.U, and L&O: Organized Crime. Although unlikely, I wouldn't be surprised if happened during the last episodes of the season for all three shows. But I have a hard time thinking about how the writers are going to create a storyline where it would be conducive for all three shows, especially from the L&O (Original) and L&O: Organized Crime perspective. L&O: Organized Crime is SO RADICALLY different from the other two. I think the ONLY reason L&O: S.V.U. and L&O: Organized Crime crossover with each other is because of the Stabler-Benson relationship. With that being said, I think we BADLY need a Chicago P.D.—L&O: Organized Crime Crossover. I think it makes more logical sense than the other two L&Os because they're always doing undercover operations, and Voight and Stabler BOTH go off book when they feel it's necessary. It would be awesome to see Voight and his team up with Stabler and Bell's team. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, I think L&O: Organized Crime is going to keep getting better and better. The only thing preventing me giving it a 5-out-of-5 is the way the Richard Wheatley drama was handled. Not too big of a deal for me, but I think it went on longer than it needed to. I think it took a psychological toll on Stabler and got in the way of the team trying to focus on other cases. Also, they should make Malachi a permanent character or have make frequent appearances here-and-there. I think he adds a great dynamic to the team and his relationship with Jet was hilarious. But I'm glad that the Wheatley stuff is over with and Stabler can now move on with his life. Love this show 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏!!!!!!!!! See more Read all reviews
