Didn't even want to watch, fearing it wouldn't be Real..."Most" Everything is close to correct, including what the Kennedys' are/were like, including Caroline, Ethel & Jackie Onassis.. It's like a "Time Capsule" of that Time, too in #Manhattan.. Amazing Recreation.. Horrendous what happened to them & the Grotesque Paparazzi in their "Pursuit" of them.. but also truly shows J & C's tumultuous but enduring complete Love for Each Other. One of the most beautiful series ever. See more Iris J @RT32358280 6d I found this series deeply disappointing. Not a single character feels genuinely likable, making it hard to stay engaged. Even figures who were widely admired in real life are portrayed as cold, distant, and often unkind. John F. Kennedy Jr. comes off the best, but still lacks the warmth and charisma he was known for. Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, in particular, feels unfairly depicted. In reality, she was known for her warmth and big smile, yet here she is played as distant and almost permanently disapproving. It feels like a fundamental miscast that strips away who she really was. Hannah Daryl can respond publicly, but JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy cannot, which makes this portrayal feel even more questionable. Ultimately, there is no one to root for, and the series comes across as flat and unnecessarily harsh. The only redeeming quality is the 90s New York setting, which I genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to save the series. See more gena S @RT84961260 Mar 17 I was eager for this as it overlapped with my early days moving to NYC. I remember going to Tribeca to view the tributes outside their loft after they were sadly lost in the plane crash. While the series is nice to look at, the portrayal of their relationship and story becomes tedious within a couple episodes. Most importantly, they've managed to make virtually every person/character unlikeable and annoying - including CBK. There is no way every person surrounding them was as terrible as they portray....and I doubt CBK was a constant victim. Very disappointing.
