Season 1 was so good. In Season 2 it devolves into the typical modern day liberal trope fest. All women kick as, even the bad ones. Which on its own is OK. Unfortunately they pair it as they always do, with all men are stupid, impulsive and move forward with no real thought. They ruined Star Wars with it They ruined Monarch with it. If you want to Guage the fluffiness vs the seriousness of season 2. Here's the line from one of our lady heroes that says it all. "Her love as a mother is more powerful than any computer program I could ever write". TV off.

Season 2 somehow managed to top an incredible 1st season. From the 1st episode, the stakes are bigger, the story is more intense, and the Titan action is spectacular. I love that the series never sacrifices great storytelling for visual effects. Every monster encounter feels epic, but it’s the mystery, character development, and expanding Monarch lore that keep me completely invested. The cinematography is stunning, the CGI is phenomenal, and the sense of scale is breathtaking. The pacing keeps you on the edge of your seat, with twists that had me eager for the next episode every single week. The show continues to expand the Monsterverse in meaningful ways, answering questions while introducing new mysteries that make the world feel even larger. This is exactly how you build a franchise, respecting what fans already love while confidently pushing the story forward. Season 2 is thrilling, emotional, beautifully produced, and everything I hoped it would be.

It’s just fine and I wish I liked it more than I did. The Lee Shaw duo and Keiko are great, but the writing just feels so messy and none of the other characters especially grab me.
