SkyRo P @TheMovieSearch 08/03/2024 Embarking on the Ninjago series for a review, I initially had low expectations for a Lego-based franchise. I anticipated it to be a light-hearted, perhaps frivolous watch that I wouldn't particularly enjoy or find engaging. However, I couldn't have been more mistaken. The Ninjago franchise turned out to be a delightful surprise, offering an incredibly entertaining and enjoyable viewing experience. My child and I were thoroughly captivated by every aspect of this series, including the movies, shorts, and various episodes available. The characters in Ninjago are not only entertaining but also undergo significant development throughout the series. Characters like Ty and Zane, along with the rest of the cast, evolve and grow, allowing viewers to become deeply invested in their individual journeys and the overarching storyline. What stood out the most was how the characters' powers were earned through their adventures, creating a sense of progression and accomplishment. Additionally, the gradual introduction of new characters and the phased-out departure of older ones added an intriguing dynamic, akin to the passing of the torch to the next generation. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Ninjago franchise to both children and adults. Whether enjoyed independently by kids or watched together as a family, the series offers a wild and imaginative experience with Legos that is sure to delight and entertain viewers of all ages.
