... It is absolutely, incorrigibly, resolutely awful. I don’t mean comically awful, I mean literally the end of culture. Go to Full Review

If the 2011 film was hard to watch, then Netflix’s new rendition is absolutely excruciating—but this time, it’s a compliment. Go to Full Review

Charles F @charlo53108 Jan 2 I watched all the episodes in 2 days. I was disappointed that the way this ended. I hate getting so involved as if I know these people. Now, I wish they would come out another one After One Day or something - to see how his life has involved since Emma died. I admit that I am very depressed after watching the last 2 episides, and only wish that these two have admitted their true feelings years ago. Definitely watching again. It was an absolute delight. Definitely something you want to go into with as little information or spoiler as possible. I feel like the show genuinely earned the emotions I felt by end See more Chelsea M @cm730949 Nov 3 Cried. A lot. The best shows and movies make you feel something. The two main characters have amazing chemistry. That said, I would never watch this again. See more Anežka M @RT77828181 Sep 9 Trying to be Normal People, failing miserably. Flat and inauthentic. See more Neil W @RT93480338 Aug 21 Spoiler Alert: this review discloses the ending, so if you don’t want to see that, don’t read. I loved the acting and the series right up the penultimate episode. The two main characters are compelling and have a great chemistry. To some degree, stories such as this one are entitled to manipulate the audience/reader emotions. This story does that. The entire narrative flow is that of the two main characters working out their life paths. Emma is bright, grounded, self-aware, emotionally intelligent and simply in need to some good advice and direction. It is ironic that Dex provides this, because he is not neither grounded, nor emotionally intelligent for most of the series. Their path to finding each other is well designed. The author should, in my opinion, left the story with Emma and Dex building the life together they have always been destined to have. It didn’t have to be idyllic. To wantonly kill off Emma just as that life was starting and to crush Dex just as his path was coming into focus was mean, unnecessary, and lacking in imagination. It left me feeling angry and wishing I had not invested time in the series. If you have read this far, I recommend you don’t make the investment See more Read all reviews
