While the special effects are undeniably top-notch, this nine-part series was a hit that reached way beyond its gaming fanbase in large part due to the crisp, emotional storytelling, particularly with its two-handers. Go to Full Review

I like that The Last of Us isn’t consumed with telling stories about the powerful but instead is focused on regular people who are just trying to make it through this mess. Go to Full Review

With a well-crafted character development, a good balance between action-packed moments and more sentimental and poignant ones, The Last of Us is one of those series that makes an impact and will keep us waiting for its sequel. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

S S. @sherishark 3h Started off Great, too bad they killed off Joel lost me then. See more Murilo D @SanThes 1d This season is Ok. Episode 3 really cringe...Sure show Bill's life, but try to be faithful to the source. They could have used half the episode for that and then jump to them finding Bill like in the game. I think it would be even more heart breaking knowing Bill's story and then stumble on to the house where Frank ends his life. Also the hivemind thing was so bad. All in all it's a OK TV show. But falls way to short of the games. See more Kyle E @Horrorbouy 3d From literally its first moment Season 2 of The Last of Us is showing itself to be pathetic, cringe and accidentally funny. One of the show's worst and most consistent elements in this regard is that viewers have it rubbed in our faces that Ellie can HANG WITH THE GUYS. Are you listening? Because for some reason the writers desperately want us to acknowledge this, even more than they want to tell an interesting and emotionally involved story. Mind you, it's not just Ellie's loutish behavior and unending stream of foul language we have to endure, but we're also force-fed scenes like our 5-foot something and a hundred-and-nothing pound girl in the writers' idea of a training session give a whooping to a linebacker who is 3x her size and 15x her strength. Was I supposed to be snorting here? Because this was funny, but I have the sense the writers thought I should be taking it seriously. Ellie ultimately obliterates linebacker guy, forcing him to tap out. Must have been her "training." See more Shawn C. @Shawnmovielover08 5d A brilliant game to television adaptation that not only is faithful but add a lot more depth with its changes with the deaf representation with Sam actually feeling authentic and of course the great episode of “Long, Long Time” featuring the love story of Frank and Bill. The performances are great as well with Pedro Pascal strong leading performance however it’s Bella Ramsey that truly steals the show with her breakout performance. Overall amazing first season. See more Kandy A Jan 13 I really liked the background story and the character of Joel. But I disliked the character of Ellie a lot and it dipped into a teenage angst melodrama often which ruined the series. See more Ryan R. @XenonInc Jan 5 Hollywood is a complete joke. What a complete joke. Hollywood is so broken. I'm sure all the girl bosses and non straight people and black women and men who are in love with black women are just dominating the apocalypse.
