Even when a Mighty Boosh episode isn't fall-down funny, there's always something happening. Go to Full Review

It will take time for the viewer to understand the rules of order of the series... But the comedy is alluring, as few shows exist that both stretch the imagination and make me laugh. Go to Full Review

It's a comedy. It's an adventure. It may be a bona-fide phenomenon. It's definitely magical. Go to Full Review

But the wonderful concept behind The Boosh is that there isn't anything to get. So don't even try. Go to Full Review

Barratt and Fielding -- who started out performing a live sketch comedy act, which then expanded to radio and has now jumped to TV -- certainly deserve credit for their comedic vision. Go to Full Review

Emma P @Emmywemmy Jan 4 Best thing about this, Michael Fielding and Rich Fulcher, the worst thing? It's horribly pretentious and quite boring. Sorry lads not for me. See more James N @JamN1985 Dec 23 The Mighty Boosh is what happens when two brilliant weirdos, Noel Fielding & Julian Barratt, are given just enough budget and creative freedom to bring their acid-trip imagination to life. It’s a show that refuses to follow any comedy rulebook, and that’s precisely why it works. What makes it brilliant is the commitment to its own insane logic. The show treats every ridiculous premise with sincerity. Musical numbers erupt spontaneously: psychedelic, catchy, often about something utterly mundane like soup or eels. The DIY aesthetic with its papier-mâché sets and lo-fi effects, gives everything a handmade, fever-dream quality that somehow makes it more enchanting rather than cheap. It’s comedy that rewards repeat viewing. The wordplay is dense, visual gags are layered and the chemistry between Fielding and Barratt is electric. They’re the perfect odd couple and their characters’ bizarre friendship becomes oddly touching. Not for everyone but if it clicks with you, it clicks hard. See more Mike S 01/24/2025 This show was both great and hilarious, although you have to be mature enough to appreciate the style of humour, would definitely recommend if you are into absurd comedy. See more Tom H 05/24/2023 This has to be one of the least funny or interesting things I have ever seen. It's just weird for the sake of being different. See more Lucy M 07/21/2022 One of a kind and beyond Hilarious. Coming at you like a Northern Bullet! And that's why I don't like Cricket! See more Read all reviews
