Appropriately for a show about pro wrestling, “Queen” feels both illicit and wholesome. Go to Full Review

This is a fun, funny, exciting, heart-pounding little show, one that captures the spectacle, glamour, danger, and sexiness of professional wrestling as well as anything I’ve ever watched. Go to Full Review

This well-made series may help relieve the sting felt by fans of Netflix's unceremoniously canceled GLOW, another 1980s-era story set in the world of women's professional wrestling. Go to Full Review

Scott E @ScottEMovies 09/27/2024 As someone who has watched the story unfold in true fashion, they perfectly made this into a successful drama while keeping a lot of truth to the story. Dump Matsumoto, Chigusa Nagayo, and so many legends being highlighted was really special to watch. See more Peter P 09/25/2024 This is such a rare gem of a show. Phenomenally acted, covering a time period that I never thought we’d get to see unfold on a TV screen. This is a real slice of heaven for wrestling fans, especially of this era. Highly highly recommended. See more chris h 09/23/2024 The wrestling scenes are well done, if a little over the top and the atmosphere is well captured. The acting is very expressive and in the earlier episodes seem to be very tongue in cheek, it does become serious in the last few episodes. However I wanted to know more about all of the characters, especially Dump Matsumoto. You don't really get to see behind the theatrical character, especially as her childhood, an alcoholic selfish father, easily manipulated mother and distant sister played a large part in who she became. There are too many characters to follow and this becomes confusing and detracts from the main narrative. In fact I fast forwarded through the latter wrestling scenes hoping to see more "Behind the scenes" but was disappointed. See more Read all reviews
