For fans, the news is all good. Kimmy is as Jimmy was. Which is to say happily nuts.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt may be shifting away from its roots in Kimmy's specific repression... but the show is fighting even harder against the patriarchy as a whole. These women are flat-out exceptional, and not just the ones in front of the camera.

The jokes-per-minute ratio is dependably high, the cast is up for anything, and even the more jaded viewers will be occasionally caught flat-footed.

There's plenty to adore in the third season.

Season 3 is so dense with jokes that it's hard to watch too many episodes in one sitting. Also, it's glorious.

This is a series with the confidence to go deep on its main characters while delivering rapid-fire quips and visual gags (Roy Cohn Community College!). It's a triumphant return.

The show remains uproariously funny, even if it seems to distance itself from the more serious and effecting insights it seemed to attack head on in the past.

The acting remains superb in the new season, but Burgess shines. His one-liner remarks come across so naturally, it's as if the cameras aren't even rolling.

Kimmy's ingenue act is growing a tad tired (it has been two years now since she moved to New York), but the show still makes me smile more than anything else on TV.

If Season 3 is any indication that Titus has become the show's main protagonist, I embrace the change willingly, but not without some regret...

Audience Reviews for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 3

  • Jan 15, 2019
In S3, Tituss Burgess has become the main star with scene-stealing one liners, and while the rest of the cast and celebrity cameos keep the jokes coming at a rapid fire pace, some of the charm has worn out.

Incredibly funny show with an amazing cast, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a fantastic feel good comedy which thirth season did not disappoint. Titus' Lemonade recreation was definitely the highlight of this season. Great acting, great cast, unique characters, and a fun and engaging story.

The funniest show since Seinfeld. I won't miss an episode!

Season 1 was the best, but it's still very funny.

I just discovered this show last month and have DEVOURED all 3 seasons whilst I should really have been doing other important things. That is the power of Kimmy Schmidt! It's rare to find a show taking down the patriarchy in such a hilarious way (or, if we're honest, at all). Go Kimmy!

The third season of Unbreakable KS remains funny and just over the top enough. An ode to things of yesteryear that should tough the funny bone of the 35+ crowd.

Ridículamente divertida como las otras temporadas
  • Jul 31, 2017
Entertaining Netflix show out there lots good jokes and pop culture references can't wait for a season 4!!!
  • Jul 21, 2017
Another hilarious season that finds Kimmy starting college, Jacqueline trying to rename the Redskins, Lilian getting elected to county counsel and Titus dealing with the aftermath of his job on the cruise. The whole cast excels as usual, with Titus once again stealing the show (his version of Beyonce's 'Lemonade' is a classic). Behind the camera, the show runners keep the plots going in crazy directions (where Jacqueline's Redkins plot goes has to be seen to be believed) while feeling it with some hilarious cameos, from Laura Dern to Jon Hamm (he is really good at playing dumb). The only downside is an a somewhat anti-climatic ending that does setup for the next season but doesn't give much resolution for this one. Overall, a fun season from beginning to end and a prime excuse to be a Netflix subscriber.
