It is one of the best movies to ever come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, balancing engaging action set pieces and witty dialogue with intelligent character studies and ethical debates. Go to Full Review

Captain America: Civil War is fun; it's too well made, acted and scripted for it to be anything less. Go to Full Review

This is a "war" where quips and quotes greatly outnumber casualties. The noticeable flaws are clear to see, but the thrills and simple satisfactions more than save the day. Go to Full Review

The things it does well far outshine its downsides, and it is a showcase that comic book movies can not only be fun and entertaining, but also thought-provoking. Go to Full Review

The battles have few moments of lucidity compared to other Marvel films, since it seems that there lies the conflict of this new comics universe: achieving the balance between fights and words. Maybe they should take more time to develop the scripts... Go to Full Review

Anthony L 10/01/2021 A perfect introduction to the 3rd phase of the MCU. The story, dialogue, and action blend in a perfect stew of good times. See more Jeffrix 09/10/2021 good movie to follow the story arc. a few issues with the fight scene with all the heroes. vision disappeared through most of it conveniently. and I hate watching iron man and cap fighting. But it's got to follow the arc I guess. See more Seth S. @sethsmovies 15h One of the best Marvel movies. My biggest issue with it is that it’s called Captain America. It irks me that it’s not just called Avengers: Civil War. It’s not like Thor: Ragnarok where there’s Hulk but it’s mostly a Thor movie, Civil War is fully all of the Avengers so it annoys me a lot because if you watch only Avengers movies and skip out of individuals, you miss a pretty bit chunk of Avengers plots if you skipped Civil War. Marvel does a great job but the way they named the movies makes it annoying to go back and rewatch anything because you have no idea what timeline holes you miss if you don’t watch the right movie in the right order. See more Manavjeet P @ManavPatil999 5d Movie With Real Emotions! Civil War honestly felt way more emotional than a normal Marvel movie. Watching the Avengers split up after seeing them together for so long actually hit hard. The airport fight was incredible, but the final Tony vs Steve fight was the moment that stayed with me. One of the best MCU movies easily. See more Koen M @Pennywise.koen May 5 My third favorite movie of the whole MCU See more Tiara L @Tiara15 Apr 14 Captain America: Civil War is a Marvel Studios film directed by the Russo brothers, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The action takes place around the world:Siberia, the United States, and Germany. The film is about Captain America (Chris Evans), who is under political pressure to install a system of accountability after the Avengers cause collateral damage. This divides the Avengers.Captain America believes superheroes should be free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) disagrees and supports the government decision. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side. The plot is absorbing because you don’t know how it will end.The CGI is outstanding and looks natural. The acting is convincing and natural. The script is moving, but sometimes a little confusing.Generally,I recommend this film to anyone who loves the MCU. It is believable, like it happens in real life. If you didn’t watch it yet, you are missing something. See more Read all reviews
