Straight-arrow policewoman Cooper (Reese Witherspoon) is excited and thrilled about her next assignment. Her task is to escort Daniella Riva (Sofía Vergara), a wisecracking Colombian beauty, from San Antonio to Dallas so both she and her husband can testify against a drug lord. Plans go awry when Mr. Riva gets ambushed, leaving Daniella a widow. Cooper and her witness must now use their wits to escape from crooked cops and murderous gunmen, while not killing each other in the process.

Hot Pursuit completely exceeded my expectations. I went into the film expecting a typical buddy comedy, but I ended up laughing far more than I anticipated. Reese Witherspoon and Sofía Vergara make an unexpected pairing, yet their chemistry is what makes the movie so entertaining. Their opposite personalities create hilarious situations, and the comedy rarely misses a beat. The screenplay keeps the jokes coming while maintaining a fast pace that never feels dull. Although the story isn’t anything groundbreaking, it doesn’t need to be because the performances carry the film from beginning to end. I found myself invested the entire time and never felt the urge to look away. Both actresses fully commit to their roles, making every interaction feel energetic and fun. Overall, Hot Pursuit is a genuinely funny comedy that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for an easy, laugh-out-loud movie, this is definitely one worth watching.

Funny, sometimes peculiar, sometimes haha. Great cinematography. Well written. Fast moving with enough drama, flair, style, pizzazz, clumsy fumbling, hilarious encounters, serious misunderstandings, melodrama, action and just good old fun. Easy on the eye and really no serious concentration needed. Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara shines in character, well, whole cast convincing in character. If you have some sense of humor, you'll understand ...

I dont see all the hate about this movie. Its hilarious. Easy to watch. No crazy car chases that go on forever. Its a cute chicken flick. I do t think it deserves 7% i will watch again.
