Twenty-year-old Laszlo (Janos Opoczki), a general layabout, meanders away his day, using the money he has recently stolen to pay his way through the nondescript bars, restaurants, pinball parlors and various other hangouts scattered about the seemingly vacant neighborhoods of Budapest. As Laszlo restlessly traverses block after block and encounters other city dwellers (Istvan Ivanyi, Jozsef Farkas), his interactions with these strangers prove to be just as empty as the urban streets.
