10/23/2020 The film makers deviate heavily from the non-fiction book the story is based on, "My Six Convicts: A Psychologist's Three Years in Fort Leavenworth." Director Hugo Fregonese received a DGA nomination for best director and Millard Mitchell a Golden Globe for best supporting actor.
