Definitely returning to form from season 2, but a lot of drags to get us to the good stuff. Gullet and Tumbleton battles were spectacular, and Ormund Hightower was probably the best part of this season.

Season 3 could have been retitled House of Draggin’. In 2026 great production values aren’t enough anymore. It doesn’t cover up poor fundamentals. Writing, editing, and directing are essential for good storytelling. If by the time you get to the big battle at the end of the season, but the audience doesn’t really care what happens, you have failed.

Season 3 is an absolute waste of time. The characters constantly contradict themselves, the episodes are filled with filler, and there’s an overwhelming amount of dialogue that, honestly, leads absolutely nowhere. I don’t understand the point of building characters and situations that were initially interesting and complex, only to turn them into something so circumstantial and hollow. It’s painfully obvious that the production is more focused on making money and stretching the show out for as many seasons as possible, regardless of how terrible the content becomes.
