All in all, House of the Dragon is a thrilling, emotionally devastating, and a visually stunning chapter in the saga. It delivers everything fans hoped for: spectacle, heartbreak, political intrigue, and dragons. Go to Full Review

There is nothing on television as lavish, knotty or spectacularly expensive-looking. Even when it makes you want to put your head through a wall. Go to Full Review

The pace quickens, the characters start using their brains and there's even the smallest smidgen of levity mixed in with all the heads on pikes and grieving mothers. Go to Full Review

This was a genuinely terrific episode of House of the Dragon, perhaps the best written of the season and one I enjoyed enough to watch twice before writing this recap. Go to Full Review

The story does not move forward — and not even sideways, frankly. There are plot holes in every storyline. However, the episode deserves a pass solely for the cats that now roam the Red Keep. Go to Full Review

Ernesto E @ernestoestrada 5h This show is seriously missing the political intrigue of GOT. This season is genuinely unwatchable. It's so unserious. The dialogue is terrible. The actors cannot act with how badly the script is written. The only interesting characters are Daeron and Aemond. It's like the writers don't know what they're doing. There is no compelling plot or characterization. If you asked me what a character would do in a scenario, I wouldn't know. That's how hollow they are written. See more David R @RT50998048 7h I don't know what show the thumbs up people are watching but it's not what's on HBO. Tired of Rhaenyra and Alicent bickering in every other scene, for Christ’s sake move on or someone pull out a dagger. It’s worse than a 70’s soap opera. We never see the actual battles, just the before or after shots. "We can’t afford the main course but here is a salad and key lime pie, we hope you won’t notice". The most interesting characters don’t get the screen time because that’s saved for more of the ex-besties girl bickering. See more Carbojaco T @RT67618867 9h The season 3 confirms the weak points of the last one. It is boring at times. Rheanyra becomes a caricature of her whinging self (when the book didn't force Condal to write her like this). It is a shame to leave so much characters and story events unaired when the written material was so few to beggin with. How come I arrived episode 6 wishing to turn off the tv after so many stupid strory telling choices when so much is left behind ? I am tired of the mishandling of dialogs which don't lead anywhere. The rythm is slow to say the least. Bad job Condal See more Aaron B @berrycinemaman 20h This season is amazing! Best season of HOD so far. That 66% audience score is absolutely insane lol See more Shari Z @pamella83 1d Compared to Season 1, this season was disappointing. The writing felt inconsistent, several characters made strange decisions, and the finale didn't have the payoff I was expecting. There were still some amazing moments, but overall it felt more like setup than a complete story. See more Chris O @Xtian5 1d House of the Draggin', amirite? Don't think I'm gonna make it. It's more like a PBS series, which would be ok but this is supposed to be GOT universe. See more Read all reviews
