This documentary follows John Blalock, who cut off all relations with his family to live in the woods outside of Orlando, Fla. He earns money selling scrap metal and watches over several others who, like him, have willingly dropped out of society. To the world, though, John is just another homeless man, and the film seeks to reconcile the notions of nonconformity and individualism with the fickle attitudes society bears toward those who refuse to fit in.
