Robert Abele Los Angeles Times 01/16/2014
Trashmeister director and co-writer Lloyd Kaufman delivers, if your order includes cracks about Jerry Sandusky and high school shootings along with Troma in-jokes and countless movie references. Go to Full Review
Joe Leydon Variety 01/10/2014
Die-hard Troma buffs may be amused by all of this, and by the wink-wink references to such studio icons as the Toxic Avenger and Sgt. Kabukiman. Go to Full Review
Lou Lumenick New York Post 01/10/2014
2.5/4
Mostly, "Return to Nuke 'Em High'' is an occasionally hilarious series of parodies: "Carrie,'' "Soylent Green,'' "Glee,'' "Cat Ballou,'' you name it. Go to Full Review
Heather Wixson Daily Dead 01/08/2016
3.5/5
Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1 is an absurdly entertaining slapstick gore-fest that also manages to effectively pass along a timely message or two along the way. Go to Full Review

There's a big difference between being intentionally ridiculous and coming out hilariously self-aware and being intentionally ridiculous and succeeding in being bad. Go to Full Review

Retains a certain B-movie moxie, but its chaotic nature fatigues the film long before it reaches its non-conclusion. Points to Kaufman for the hurricane of sick ideas, but would it kill Troma to show a little patience? Go to Full Review

The cameos were legendary with Stan Lee introducing the story and Lemmy's appearance as The President of the united States of America. I watch it at least 4 times a year. See more 03/06/2019 It was little over the top. but I found it funny See more 03/06/2019 Return to nuke em high volume 1 is there any good class of cheesy horror and disgusting low budget fun. Also worth some special appearances from: different people that you don't expect to be in the type of movie. C+ (2013) See more Read all reviews
