Ok, I know this movie gets some hate from Scream fans, but I really enjoyed it. For one, the opening scene was really good. I for one enjoy the voice changer and I think really elevates the mystery element. It really could be anyone! Moving on from the opening, I really love the Hollywood setting. I personally like the Hollywood setting more than the college setting from the last movie. I also liked the Woodsboro set. The scene where Sidney walks through the set as if it's actually her old house while trying to figure out what's real and what's not was really good in my opinion. But my least favorite part of this movie is the Ghostface. Don't get me wrong, Roman is an alright Ghostface and I even think his motive is good, I just think his reveal felt out of nowhere and that he is my least favorite Ghostface in the series thus far. But I still don't think that this movie deserves the hate it gets. I still got a lot of enjoyment out of this movie and thought it was a worthy sequel.

This film gets a lot of hate which I don’t get. It’s not the worst film in the franchise, but not the best. The third film had a few production problems but it seems they did do the best with what they had. The feel of Scream 3 has a different feel of 1 and 2. Overall, it’s not a bad film, maybe slightly ahead of its time. The kills are toned down and hardly any suspense and chase scenes. However, Scream 3 is a lot of fun and does round off the story of all three films whether people like the ending or not.
