Filmmaker Judith (Josee Deschenes) is intrigued by an unsolved murder investigation and decides to re-create the crime onscreen. She casts the victim's friend Lucie (Marie Brassard) as the dead woman. Lucie's neighbor Francois (Patrick Goyette) happens to have been the victim's boyfriend and claims not to know whether he killed her. While Francois is scheduled for a new polygraph test because the first was inconclusive, Lucie grows increasingly disturbed by the reenactment of the murder.
