Once again doctor who never misses the mark.
      • Jul 02, 2023
On balance, probably on par with S5, but not the show at its very best, and an unsatisfactory ending. I loved the tone and themes in Moffat's DW, on that regard it's my favourite era of NuWho to date, but his tendency to start writing a mystery box type story and then to pull the ending of the story RIGHT out of his behind and completely phone it in, usually in what must be the least satisfactory way that wouldn't have been rejected by the BBC, had begun to show by now. He got away with the almost equally phoned in ending of S5 largely on grace and the show still feeling new and fresh again, but here it is apparent that he hadn't learned from that mistake, something which he would later make even more apparent in all of Sherlock after season 2.

Matt Smith makes the Dr his own and does so very quickly his mix of humour as well as emotion make this era second only to the previous Drs run.

While David Tennant is my favorite doctor of the new Who, This is my favorite story arc for a season. I LOVE the impossible astronaut as the first episode, giving a puzzle immediately that needs to be solved, and the entire season moves towards it. Very good.

This was the best "modern" Doctor Who series. It was fun. FUN. They totally forgot what it's about after this season + part of season 7. THIS WAS FUN!

I missed this season when it was aired and have just caught up. Excellent storylines, Matt Smith was a brilliant Doctor!! Soooooo wish he was back playing the Doctor
      • Oct 09, 2021
Matt Smith still does pretty well in this season. I would say that, overall, it wasn't bad. However, it is not quite as good as the David Tennet and Christopher Eccleston eras.
      • Feb 14, 2021
Better in comparison with the 5th season, the writing seems a bit too rushed but there are memorable episodes
      • Dec 29, 2020
Difficult season, maybe the writing it's not always the best, but stories are nice and well acted, so it's still a very good season to watch.
      • Nov 17, 2020
this is a pretty good season but not perfect containing episodes that I really don't like such as Night Terrors and one of my favourite episodes, a Good man goes to War and it has one of the best story arcs.
