Even with some complaints, Gunn and John Cena have accomplished incredibly impressive things in bringing Peacemaker to life over the past four years. Season 2 is an enjoyably intimate and organic character study of one of DC’s most absurd characters.

This season is still fun, still brutal, and still very Peacemaker, but it doesn’t have the same spark as Season 1. The characters are familiar now, so the shock value doesn’t hit as hard, and the story feels a bit more scattered. John Cena carries the season like always, and there are some genuinely great moments, but it never reaches the highs of the first season. Enjoyable overall, just a clear step down from what was once a perfect run.

I absolutely loved the second season even more than the first which is hard to believe. The story was incredible and so much fun and this season made me love the characters even more. I’m bummed out if they don’t make a season 3 which I’m hearing they might not. Let’s pray they do, it’s too good to Stop!

Another ridiculously entertaining series, led by Jon Cena and a terrific and very watchable ensemble cast The opening sequence once again is one of the highlights which you just don't dare skip for any of the episodes. Add a great big hair band / glam rock soundtrack and you have a recipe for a absolutely bonkers romp.

This is the greatest television show ever created. There is not one John cena in it, but two. James Gunn is a visionary.
