kevin o @RT89271007 03/28/2025 ...its corney and perfect. The two leads are the show, as they make it all work. Season 1 2 and 3. The 4th is lame, yet the first 3 make up for it. Its not hill street blues ,nor is it supposed to be. See more Mike P @RT12804995 04/08/2024 So-so buddy cop show from the 70s from Aaron Spelling; who loved to copy Police Story at every possible opportunity. (Both this and Charlie's Angels stole from that pot of giold)...This show does get credit for relaxing some of the buddy cop stereotypes of the time that were perpetuated by shows like Dragnet and Adam 12; with their staid, button-down automaton characters...Starsky was much more laid back; and wasnt afraid to show modern dudes being a little affectionate with each other... Unfortunately that doesn't make this a good show. Overall it's just a meh ripoff of Police Story. But it did push the envelope in it's own small way... See more Read all reviews
