World's Finest beats Batman v Superman in every other category: entertainment, authenticity, making sense, humor, being viewable by children whose favorite characters are Batman and/or Superman, fun, ability to actually see what is happening on screen. Go to Full Review

matthias s @Thescreenasvor Aug 28 *Superman: The Animated Series* Season 2 earns a solid **69%** from me. As a fan, I loved how the show leaned deeper into comic arcs—Brainiac’s cold manipulations, Metallo’s persistence, and Darkseid’s looming presence felt straight out of the pages. The “Apokolips…Now!” two-parter gave us one of Superman’s most brutal battles, echoing Kirby’s Fourth World mythology. Episodes like “World’s Finest” brought Batman into the mix, nodding to classic team-ups. Still, not every filler story soared, and some villains felt undercooked compared to their comic counterparts. Despite uneven pacing, the emotional stakes and faithfulness to the lore kept it engaging for fans. See more johnathon w @Hoppynsc 04/05/2022 Where the series truly crystalized, setting the standard for Superman adaptations to date along with some classic episodes that brought in such characters like Dr. Fate and Supergirl. The highlight is the brilliant "World's Finest" three parter that teamed Superman with Batman. This is where the show became a classic. See more Read all reviews
