Juvenile actor Blake Garrett Rosenthal's talent for playing offbeat boys led to roles in hit features like "Bridesmaids" (2011) and the CBS sitcom "Mom" (2013- ). Raised in Newbury Park, California, Rosenthal began his acting career at the age of five, when his aunt, a casting agent for young actors, thought he might enjoy auditioning for an ABC television pilot titled "Married Not Dead" (2009). Despite having no prior acting experience, Rosenthal landed the role, and though the series never went to air, he was soon cast in small but memorable turns in Judd Apatow's "Bridesmaids" and "This is 40" (2012), as well as a recurring role on "New Girl" (Fox, 2011- ), which showcased his talent for comedy. In 2013, he was cast as the nephew of Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) in "The Farm," an episode of "The Office" (NBC, 2005-2013) that was intended as a spinoff series, but also failed to land a network pickup. However, Rosenthal's next TV effort proved to be a success: he was cast as Roscoe, the somewhat slow-witted if loyal son of Anna Faris' reformed alcoholic and single mom, Christy Plunkett, on "Mom." A ratings hit from its first season, "Mom" was Rosenthal's main acting showcase, though he also appeared in a supporting role in the independent family drama "Finding Harmony" (2014).
