Actress Cathy Podewell played trophy wife Cally Harper Ewing on the long-running primetime soap opera, "Dallas." She won the part after Larry Hagman -- who played J.R., her womanizing, oil-tycoon husband -- recommended her after she appeared on the sitcom "Growing Pains."
