Darrell Ware brought many screenplays to Hollywood throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Ware began his entertainment career in film writing following credits on the The Ritz Brothers comedy "Life Begins in College" (1937), the Tyrone Power comedy "Second Honeymoon" (1937) and "Wife, Doctor, and Nurse" (1937). He also appeared in "Just Around the Corner" (1938) with Shirley Temple Black, the Richard Greene action picture "Submarine Patrol" (1938) and the Edgar Bergen comedy "Charlie McCarthy, Detective" (1939). Nearing the end of his career, Ware wrote the musical "My Gal Sal" (1942) with Rita Hayworth, "Orchestra Wives" (1942) and the Bing Crosby musical "Dixie" (1943). He also appeared in the musical "Bring on the Girls" (1945) with Veronica Lake and "Kitty" (1946). Ware was most recently credited in the comedy "Love That Brute" (1950) with Paul Douglas. Ware passed away in May 1944 at the age of 38.
