Dee Carroll was an actress who founded her entertainment career success with roles in film. Carroll began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "War Arrow" (1953) with Maureen O'Hara, the horror flick "Tarantula" (1955) with John Agar and the western "A Day of Fury" (1956) with Dale Robertson. She also appeared in "A Guide For the Married Man" (1967) and the dramatic adaptation "Hotel" (1967) with Rod Taylor. Carroll worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in the Jim Brown thriller "The Split" (1968), the James Garner suspenseful adaptation "Marlowe" (1969) and the Shirley MacLaine adaptation "Sweet Charity" (1969). She also appeared in "The Arrangement" (1969) with Kirk Douglas and "The Christine Jorgensen Story" (1970). Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Love Nest" (CBS, 1974-75). Carroll more recently acted in "The Stunt Man" (1980) with Peter O'Toole.
