      Edmund Burns was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Burns began his career with roles in "The Manicure Girl" (1925), "Out of the Storm" (1926) and "The Lodge in the Wilderness" (1926). Burns began to focus on film after appearing in "Poor Girls" (1927), "Tanned Legs" (1929) and the action film "Air Mail" (1932) with Pat O'Brien. He also appeared in the horror flick "The Death Kiss" (1932) with David Manners, "The Shadow of the Eagle" (1932) and "Dangerously Yours" (1933). Later in his career, Burns acted in the Clark Gable comedy "It Happened One Night" (1934). Burns passed away in April 1980 at the age of 88.
