Gjee Wade II
Gjee Wade II is an American actor, member of the United States Navy and former K9/SWAT Team Member. As an actor he has been a part of films released in Sweden, Mexico, U.S. and in the U.K. Growing up as a rebellious teen living in a violent community, he often relied on his fighting skills to his advantage. He was a multi-sport athlete who excelled in football, boxing, wrestling, basketball and weightlifting and won championships in many of these. Wade II became a bodyguard and began providing personal protection for many celebrities and NFL Players. At his mother's advice, he began a career in law enforcement at age 22 in Palm Beach County. His street smarts, attention to detail, ability to read body language and muscular stature allowed him to quickly excel and was promoted to K9 officer at age 24 working for the Inspector General's office. He also trained the K9's for the region. In 2009, he relocated to Alachua County Florida to be closer to his mother, who was recovering from a brain aneurysm. There, he worked for the Sheriff's Office and was a part of the Special Forces team, Crisis Intervention Team and a PT leader. He is trained in boxing, MMA, knife defense, and lethal weapons. He was an instructor at the State College in Defensive Tactics/Firearms. After finishing his degree in criminal justice he went out to sea as a Merchant Marine. Wade II appeared in several independent films and showed his acting skills in a variety of roles. He booked his first major role as Drug Lord Neil Rene on the show "FBI: Criminal Pursuit" which aired in 2013 on Investigation Discovery (ID). Other television acting credits include his role as Killer Joe Sanders in TV One's "Fatal Attraction" and as Drug Baron Charles "Heavy" Stokes in "Evidence of Innocence." Most recently Gjee Wade II took on the role of Alo Kawiki in "Magnum P.I. (CBS, 2018-2021/NBC, 2023-).
