Kathy Mattea
At age 15, Kathy Mattea got her start in the world of acting. She had an early role on the television special "Country Music Crossroads" (PBS, 1987-88). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Austin City Limits" (PBS, 1974-2015). During these years, she also worked in film, earning a part in the Mel Gibson hit action movie "Maverick" (1994). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Billy Ray Cyrus Special -- Dreams Come True" (ABC, 1992-93) and "The Women of Country" (CBS, 1992-93). Most recently, Mattea appeared on "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me" (2014) with Glen Campbell.
