Lee McLaughlin rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. McLaughlin's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy adventure "Silver Streak" (1976) with Gene Wilder, the James Brolin horror movie "The Car" (1977) and the Lorne Greene adventure "Battlestar Galactica" (1978). He also appeared in the Peter Falk comedy "The Cheap Detective" (1978). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the comedy "Back Roads" (1981) with Sally Field and the comedy "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark" (1988) with Elvira. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Gus Brown and Midnight Brewster" (NBC, 1984-85). In the nineties, McLaughlin lent his talents to projects like "The Skateboard Kid" (1993), "Raven Hawk" (HBO, 1995-96) and "Tall Tale: The Unbelievable Adventures of Pecos Bill" with Patrick Swayze (1995). McLaughlin most recently acted in "Ed Gein" (2001) with Steve Railsback.
