Rick Snyder was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "The Grapes of Wrath" (PBS, 1990-91). He also starred in the TV movies "First Steps" (1984-85), "Legacy of Lies" (USA, 1991-92) and "In the Company of Darkness" (CBS, 1992-93). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Angel Street" (CBS, 1992-93). Later, he earned a role in the Sandra Bullock romance "The Net" (1995). He also starred in the TV movies "Overexposed" (1992-93), "The Woman Who Loved Elvis" (ABC, 1992-93) and "The Tuskegee Airmen" (HBO, 1994-95). He also appeared in "Alien Nation: Millennium" (Fox, 1995-96). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Chicago Hope" (CBS, 1994-2000). Snyder focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Tommy Lee Jones action film "U.S. Marshals" (1998), the dramatic comedy "Whiteboys" (1999) with Danny Hoch and "Soul Survivors" (2001) with Casey Affleck. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Profiler" (1996-2000) and "The Mind of the Married Man" (HBO, 2001-03). Snyder most recently acted in the dramatic adaptation "The Human Stain" (2003) with Anthony Hopkins.
