Ferrari (2023) Mann has been trying to make this film for over two decades and you can feel his passion. You can also see the creative freedom that allowed him to take an unconventional and at times bold look at such a complicated and fascinating figure. - Keith & the Movies

Silent Night (2023) While's Woo's craftsmanship is clearly a draw, Kinnaman proves to be an essential ingredient. His ability to channel pain and vulnerability adds pathos while his physicality combined with a palpable fury energizes the action. - Keith & the Movies

The Promised Land (2023) Mikkelsen maintains a captivating presence....And few can say as much through an ice cold, granite-hard stare. Arcel knows what he has in his star and uses him as an anchor for what is one of the year’s best films. - Keith & the Movies

Napoleon (2023) It sees Scott tossing the conventional biopic formula to the wind. The results are a little messy. But so was Napoleon. - Keith & the Movies

Saltburn (2023) Fennell loses her creative self within this glaringly phony world of debauchery and opulence. As a result, things like narrative structure, story progression, and character development get tossed aside for warped and edgier grasps for attention. - Keith & the Movies

The Holdovers (2023) Call it a return to form or whatever you want. I’ll just enthusiastically say that even with its few minor issues, “The Holdovers” is one of Payne’s best films to date. - Keith & the Movies

Thanksgiving (2023) Roth spares no creative expense (or bodily organ) in slaughtering his mostly disposable victims. Unfortunately that same attention isn’t given to the script which only exists to usher us from one bloody murder to the next. - Keith & the Movies

Next Goal Wins (2023) It’s a mind-boggling misfire that sees (Waititi) more absorbed in his preoccupations than with telling a good story. It’s even more bewildering that a filmmaker so notorious for doing his own thing would make a film this glaringly by the numbers. - Keith & the Movies

The Marvels (2023) If you can set your expectations low enough you might find some disposable entertainment in “The Marvels”. But that in itself is sad. Especially for those of us who once anxiously counted the days to every new MCU release. Those days seem so long ago. - Keith & the Movies

Pain Hustlers (2023) “Pain Hustlers” is overlong and at times frustratingly dull. But perhaps its biggest offense lies in its focus. The movie is so honed in on its disgustingly wealthy profiteers that the true victims (the people who actually died) barely have a voice. - Keith & the Movies

Priscilla (2023) ...a captivating experience that provides an inside look at one of the most well known celebrity couples of our time. It features bravura filmmaking and is driven by a bold vision that doesn’t follow the normal biopic models we’ve grown accustomed to. - Keith & the Movies

Rumble Through the Dark (2023) “Rumble Through the Dark” is a promising but weighted down thriller that gets by mostly on the shoulders of Eckhart. The material may not do him many favors, but he pours himself into his role which makes the story’s shortcomings a bit easier to maneuver. - Keith & the Movies

Rustin (2023) It's the script that has (Domingo) constantly speaking in mini-monologues and stagy soliloquies. More organic conversations are often replaced by moments that seem aimed at Oscar voters. It's a nagging issue that's hard to overlook. - Keith & the Movies

Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) ...a classic case of getting so carried away with other things that you shortchange what people are coming to see.
