A Serbian Film still rips apart our morals, and deepthroats us with them until we vomit our own regrets. For me it still holds the title as most nasty, disturbing, controversial and fucked-up horror movie to ever exist.

purely just for shock value and nothing else. causes existencial dread all throughout the entire runtime of this dogshit garbage. It goes where no movie would normally go because it's low and uses a "message" as a facade to cover up the fact it's really just to shock people. Edgelord directing at it's finest. Anyone saying this is transgressive and meaningful art or that it's good is either mentally fucked up, gullible, or just full of shit and maybe even all combined.

Is what it is. Shlock. Disturbing and people will try and find merit artistically. Trust me, there isn’t any. Truly disturbing and worthy of its poor rating. Even as a curio, do not watch! .

Seeing this film as it is shows one thing clearly to me: it sucks. It was purely made for shock value and has no point existing in cinema. While I did enjoy some parts of the film, it is tasteless, and were it not for the shock factor, A Serbian Film wouldn’t be praised by nitwits who think it is a masterpiece of horror. Either way, the movie does have some good scenes, and you can still enjoy it if you want. You do what you want I am just an amateur reviewer.
