08/15/2014 It's strangely enthralling stuff. See more 10/02/2012 I'll always love this. SUBJECT:This is a computer animation album, basically. The instruments play theirselves in wonderful animation and jammin' soundtrack (which I'll get into later). The instruments either have hands that play themselves, invisible switches and timers, and at some times just timing coincidence. The program consists of 7 sequences: 1. Future Retro-everyday rock instrumenst and lasers playing themselves to a rockin' entrance. 2. Stick Figures-more acoustic and old-fashioned type instruments playing a mostly light-hearted tune by themselves. 3. Aqua Harp-the most beautifully played song of a harp system run by water playing by itself. The only flaw in this one is the "invisible hands" cliche, but the music makes up for it pretty well. 4. Drum Machine-percussion instruments play by a set of gears running the sticks used to play them. The music is very rhythmic here, but tuneless, so a little hard to enjoy properly. 5. Pipe Dream-the best IMO out of them all. Pipes shoot little silver balls at strings and percussion intruments that come out of nowhere sometimes. It is best because of how intricate its animation follows the instruments playing. And the tune is unhatable. 6. Acoustic Curves-I don't really get the name of this one. It starts with an acoustic guitar, but busts in with several percussion instruments. The tune switches varyingly like a Daft Punk song, but it all turns out beautifully. 7. Harmonic Voltage-a power station plays itself as instruments basically. The song tries to sound epic, but it doesn't reach its highest to support a beyond perfect ending. Each segment, though some are flawed, meshes together like clockwork to form a perfect animated concert. SCORE:No acting, so..score! All the songs are either jammin' or beautiful as the perfect soundtrack of music should be (but almost never is)! I love every one of them, except Drum Machine kind of falls flat alone. ANIMATION:Realistic to say the least. Every instrument is animated solid in basic terms, but when it moves it's almost mezmerizing and always amazing to see. *all my OTHER CONTENT was shared* OVERALL,an epic animated album with a great, great subject, awesome score, and realisticly amazing animation.
